    Aspire 7720G eRecovery

    I have an Acer 7720G, OS is Vista Home Premium. I've been trying to create backup discs pror to doing a clean instal of Windows 7 Pro. Trouble is the 'create a backup' freezes every time sometimes at 7% sometimes 28%. I've upgraded the BIOS to V1.45 and downloaded the eRecovery program from Acer Support, still no joy. Any reasonable suggestions most welcome.
