My Aspire 7741 quit hibernating when I close the lid as it was set up to before. All it will do now is lock the screen, even when I start>shutdown>hibernate or hit the power button (set to hibernate). Didn't change any settings, it did this all by itself.

Checked my power settings and they are as before, set to hibernate when lid closes and some time after sleep when the lid is open for battery and plugged in. Tried turning hibernation off then back on again to no joy.

Is there some Acer setting overriding this?
