    Aspire 8920 gemstone questions

    Hi guys
    I am about to purchase this and would like a few opnions

    I have seen a refurb one containing a NVIDIA GeForce 9500M GS, while the new ones contain the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650. In your opnion which cars is better?
    I have owned radeon cards in the past and the drivers are a pain whicl nvdia have been sweet.
    Has things changed in the past year or so?
    I have also heard that the one with the nvdia card allows you to upgrade the GPU. Is that correct?
    Any opnions would be appreciated.

    Well, about mobile GPUs this chart might give you some idea.
    HD3650 and 9500GS are pretty much equal, though maybe the Nvidia GPU is slightly better.

    About upgrades...I suggest you check the 8920 owner lounge and the stickys in the Gaming section.
