    Hi there
I flashed the Bios (from Acer webpage vers. 1.10 to vers 1.13) on my notebook Acer Aspire 8930G - 864G64Bn. No I have a really big problem.
I can switch on my notebook and it shows the Acer empowering people screen, but stay there. Nothing happens. The only thing I can do is press F2 (is the only thing which is offered on the screen) But also there it just says please wait.... and nothing happens. At the first time reboot after flashing I was able to enter the Bios, but since than I can´t.

So I read a lot of using a usb thumb drive or an external floppy drive.
Will this work for my notebook and should I copy just the .FD file on it?

Please help me! Willing to pay also after solving my problem some money via paypal if it´s helpful.

    Thanks in advance!!!

There have been many people lately with similar problems. I think updating BIOS should have been forbidden unless it is needed. There a couple of threads that deal with this kind of problem and should be helpful.
In this thread (a) you will find the instructions and in this (b) the files to make a bootable USB drive and another way to flash the BIOS.
Just for a tip (you will understand in which I am referring after you read the threads carefully), try to use the newest phlash16 file which you can find in your BIOS (update) folder. Moreover, in the (a) thread, take a look at the #10 post, the change that he is suggesting can be helpful.
Sometimes you might need to use different USB drive, people have reported that after using a couple of them, the procedure was successful. So it seems that some USB drives can't be used for the BIOS flash but I don't know which ones.
If you can enter the BIOS screen options (F2) you can assign the USB drive as the booting drive and then the hard drive. But overall the procedure is for situations where you can't do that so you might be OK.
The (b) thread, as I said, describes another way to flash the laptop which I followed once since the first one didn't work but you have to make some changes since the guide is for Clevo machines.
    Good luck

Thanks. I found in a german forum a posting which says if you have a Insyde Bios on your notebook, there seems to be no way to repair it by your self.
Will work with all other versions but not with INSYDE BIOS.
And on my notebook, there is this INSYDE BIOS.
So I guess, I have to send it in.

You can still try. Acer Aspire One has a similar BIOS and you can flash the BIOS with a USB. Check this
You just need to use the flash it.exe file (without the space between the flash and it; for some reason I can't write the word as one) instead the phlash16.exe file and instead of writing phlash16 in the autoexec file, you write flash it (again without the space between the flash and it) and you place the KM2_113.fd file (and you might need to rename it in BIOS.fd, although for the Acer One they rename the file to ZG5IA32.fd for some reason that I don't know).
