    Hi folks.

I've recently installed Windows 7 and I have tried to activate it using the open 7 activator (I didn't install the original msoft version).

After applying the fix, I rebooted and since then acer erecovery starts up every single time. It has three options: restore all system files and delete all personal data, restore all system files and store the data in C:/backup, and exit.

I've tried to boot into safe mode, and I've also tried pretty much every other boot option available after pressing F8 on boot, but without luck - erecovery boots again.

I'm stuck as I cannot boot into any of my OSs (vista and the recently installed 7) and disable erecovery from there.

Is there a way to disable erecovery from BIOS?
Should I resort to i.e. Winternals recovery standalone, and delete erecovery program files from the disk? Would that help?

Please, if you have any ideas, post here. Thanks!

FWIW, my 1410 has a bios enable/disable option called D2D for "access" to the ALT+F10 recovery.
