I've got a new Aspire 8935G that was upgraded from an Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 to an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300. The Device Manager shows the T6500 as the Processor. Everest & CPU-Z report the correct CPU. In the Device Manager I right clicked the "Processor" and tried to "Scan for hardware Changes" but it doesn't update to show the T9300. Anyone know what I can do to get it to report correctly?

    Thanks.

It just hasn't updated. If you reinstall the driver for the cpu it will change the name as well as ask you to reset your computer.
