Hello, my (old) laptop came with Vista x32, then I updated it to Win7 x32 and switchable graphics worked as it should: switch to power saving GPU when running on batteries and when pressing the "eco" button.

Last month I made a clean Win 7 x64 install, installed all latest driver and now switchable graphics does not work any more.
    1. Pushing the "eco" button turns its led green, but nothing happens and the led turns off after a while
    2. Manually selecting power saving GPU, works at first (2-3 seconds) than the screen goes black and I can only turn the laptop off withe the power button. After that, sometimes the High Performance GPU (ATI Radeon 4670) is disabled and the laptop runs on power saving GPU. When Radeon is enabled back, it switches to it without asking

    Can anybody help solving this?

    Thank you a lot!
