the fan of my Aspire 8943G is starting even at low temp as 38-42 degree (checked with speedfan), I updated the bios to 1.06 but no difference, I understand there is no way to undervolt the i7 to reduce the temp, is it normal fan start so early and are there any trick to set the start point to 50-60 degree?
    thanks
    Tom

The fan on mine turns on at lower temperatures too. I remember reading a review that stated it had something to do with the graphics card being used.

Anyway, barring changing anything in the bios, I think it might be something you'll just have to live with. I know I've gotten pretty used to it now so it really doesn't bother me.
