I have a 22 inch monitor and USB wireless keyboard & mouse. I would like to close the laptop and use these instead of having the laptop open to possible damage or dust.

When I close the lid it goes into hibernation. Is there a way to close the lid and not have it hibernate so I ca operate it as a small desktop? I looked in the manual but didn't see anything related to this.

    Thanks!
