I need to know The spec's of the 9411AWSMi I got and if it will be a good notebook for use as a workhorse in word process and some light gaming if I get bored in the old gorde of mine. I will be 58 Jan. 10th and I am new to notebook use. Have all softwaware installed with the adition of Microsoft home and office. Did make recovery cd's as per acer e-management said on start-up the first time. Would like thougths on notebook and problems that are out there.

Is there some reason you think it won't be any good?

It is not that I don't think that it is bad I just haven't seen any post at all about it. I had Circuit City to add RAM and it is up to 1 gig. but my old Gate Way (main P.C.) seems faster. The user manual is as clear as MUD about the unit and e-management is running on the desktop at all times, I alos got the Belkin three antenna type for use in the home and is wireless all over now.

Most laptop use slower hard drives than desktops which make them seem slower though the CPU is probably faster on the laptop.
