Currently I have version 8.6.0.2 Installed, it came preinstalled and seems to be the only version available for my notebook model on Acers website, what latest driver is safe to install if any? and how do I go about updating the driver if there is one available.

Any drivers are safe. Go to the nvidia website or laptopvideo2go.com and download the latest 169.xx drivers.

Yeah, I went to laptopvideo2go.com and updated to the latest using modded INF, seemed to work.. they didn't the last time I tried drivers from that site.

    Thanks for your replies though.
