My machine is a Acer Aspire 9920, Vista Ultimate, Intel dual core T7500 @ 2.20Ghz, 4 Gigs Ram, 500 gig HDD.
The problem I have is no sound through headphones or extension speakers. The sound card is a high definition audio device, (whatever that is). I was wondering if the  re was any other way to test the socket other than using 'phones or speakers?
