This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Anyone know how these perform? I'm looking to replace a friends desktop with it, and I don't really feel like putting a grand into a desktop for a casual user who games on occasion. :rolleyes:

    She has a 720p HDTV I'll be hooking up to this, via VGA out. 1440x720 iirc is the resolution. Think it'll last, and perform okay? Experience with acer warranty time? :confused:
