I just got an Acer 5610. I also have an Aspire 3100. The batteries are physically identical, but the 5610 is 11.1 volt and the 3100 is 14.4 volt. Both computers are supplied with exactly the same AC adaptor, same M/N and all and both 19 volt at 3.42 amp.

My question is, since the AC is the same, is it safe to use my 4800 mah 3100 battery in my 5610?
