I am looking for a docking solution for the Aspire 5020 series I plan on buying in the near future. Whilst I have realised I can only have a usb docking solution, I am still not sure what my options are i.e. I don't know what's hot and what's not.
I would like the option to have a pcmia card in it so I can put an Audigy 2zs in it (you know the one I mean, I'm not sure of model number off the top of my head). However, if it would save me a lot of money to go without the pcmia, I could consider that also. I have a bit of flexibility on budget as I think I have found the laptop quite a lot cheaper than I was anticipating (yay!). I would just like to know what's out there really!

Here's the datasheets on the ezDock Docking Station and Port Replicator III. You can add the Audigy PC Card to the ezDock.

Neither of those are compatible with the Aspire series as far as I can tell.

You can try these. These connect via USB.

I have a Targus http://www.targus.com/us/product_details.asp?sku=PAEPR090U
will let go for $50. I just bought a 8204 and EzDock and dont need it. -
Unfortunately I am from the UK - so shipping would be prohibitive.

I am sure you can find one in the UK, they work very well. I used it on a Sony Vaio and was very pleased. -
Yeah - I think I'm going to go with the Kensington Dock with the funny stand thing. I don't have a link to hand, but it fits my needs just exactly really.
