My wife has an Aspire One netbook. Recently the HD crashed. I put an SSD in it today, but am having trouble reinstalling Windows. She has recovery discs, and I can boot from them using a USB drive, but after i get the eRecovery screen and confirm that I want to reinstall everything, A windows pops up that says "Please insert backup disk 2 or the Recovery CD." I can't get past that screen regardless of what disc I put in the drive. It's like a flashback from my floppy disk says. I actually got Windows Home Premium running on the machine by using the recovery USB drive that came with my Dell netbook. I thought that if I did that I could change to her license key, but that doesn't work. When I type in her license key number it says the software activated, but Windows still shows the same license key number that came from the Dell recovery USB drive. This makes me nervous, so I'd rather recover her computer again from the Acer discs, but I can't figure out what disc it's asking for. Any ideas?
