    My Aspire One A150 with Windows XP won't boot since last week..
    If I turn the netbook on, nothing happens, except for the LED under de power button; that's working.
    Furthermore you can hear the fan repeatedly starting and stopping.

    My first guess was that the fan might be broken, but if it repeatedly starts and stops, that's one thing that can be ruled out in my opinion.

    So I think there are 2 things left over:
    - The hard drive is broken;
    - Or the mainboard is broken;

    I have disassembled the netbook to look for dust, but there was nothing to see; it was all clean.
    I haven't tried to switch the harddrive with the one in my normal laptop, because I want to hear your opinion on this first..

    So what I would like to know is:
    - What is your view on this problem?
    - Are there people around here who have (had) the same problem?
