I have an aspire one netbook which is used in a remote location.

In the event of a power failure, I need to set the netbook to automatically restart when the power is restored. (It is always plugged in...no battery is used).

In checking the bios, there is no option for this, however it has been suggested that the option MAY appear in the bios but has been restricted or locked by acer.

Does anyone know of a way to unlock the bios and access this feature (if it exists),

    OR

Is there some other way to ensure the netbook will restart after a power outage?

I realize this is not normal behavior of a netbook, but in our application it is essential.

    Thank you
