I bought my sister an Aspire One D255 series netbook for Christmas and helped her set it up. Today is the first time I've looked at the netbook since giving it to her and it seems to me that the screen is very dim and hard to read. I don't remember it looking that way when I set it up or I think I would have taken it back. I have a Asus netbook and when I put her Acer and my Asus side by side there is a world of difference in the display. The Asus picture is bright and crisp and the Acer picture is so dark you can barely see it. I have compared our settings and they seem to be the same. Has anyone else experienced this problem and can anyone tell me what I need to do so that this netbook is usable.

    Thanks,

    Barb
