Hey guys, I have a customer's machine and I can't figure out what's going on. I initially suspected malware activity, but I've since ruled that out.

The system is getting a constant right click input. I've tried disabling the touchpad and using a mouse with the same result. Curiously the issue went away for a few days, but then reoccured. It'll sometimes function normally for a few minutes, but then returns.

Has anyone seen this on the D260 or similar models?

It has an up to date bios and touchpad driver.
It still has the stock Windows 7 Starter x86 installation.

edit: Now it looks like disabling the touchpad (Fn + F7) does resolve the issue. Getting closer at least - maybe.

I'd check if touchpad button isn't physically broken or maybe something got spilled on it. Open it up and check if it looks OK and clean.
