I recently purchased an additional 256ssd for my ultrabook. It currently has a 128gb ssd. The laptop has an additional bay for a drive, which id like to put.

I am wondering if anyone has been able to attempt this successfully on their ultrabook m5.

I hear it requires a mount bracket and a cable.

Does anyone know what kind of cable and what kind of brackets to hold it in place? Where did you order it from?

    I reside in Canada.

    Thanks,

Check the sticky for a service manual (this one is more likely to be on a mycomp.su website).
FRU list in it should help you with part numbers.

How does one run 2 SSD's on one laptop? Does one need to be designated as a primary one?

You will designate a boot drive in the bios of the machine, in your case, it would probably be the internal 128gb mSATA drive, and then you can store stuff on the 256gb 2.5" SSD.
