    Aspire blackscreen

    Hello, i have an acer aspire 4520 and i got a black screen. The power button lights up but thats it. I need a solution to rectify my problem. Can anyone help me?

    Does it boot in the background or not?
    You may want to test if it starts without the battery and with the battery but not connected to a power source. Last but not least CMOS battery may need to be replaced.

    Remove the main battery and adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds or so. Refit battery and AC adapter and try again.

    Can you see anything on the screen if you shine a torch on it ? (backlight failed)
