Hi,
My Aspire iDea 510 Media center PC recently went back to Acer for repair - Motherboard andVGA card replacement. All is now ok, however the er Y-RAN7wifi keyboard that came ith the PC no longer works.
I know 110% that the keyboard is in working order, so its down to the MoBo replacement., i'm sure. Furthermore, my colleague has 2 of these PCs, and one keyboard wont work on the other. This tells me each MoBo must have something that only allows it to respond to a certian keyboard.
I cannot find drivers and Acer recommend reinstalling Windows - That i think would be a waste of time.
Any advice?
Thanks

if WIFI keyboard came back from service NOT WORKING... it's time to call acer and see about sending it back to repair...
are you sure the there isn't a RESET button on the bottom of the keyboard.
check that first... then contact ACER for thier advice. -
ok. i never did ship the keyboard out for repair. that stayed at home whilst the PC got fixed by Acer.
It does have a RESET buton underneath, but no matter what i do with it, nothing happens. The LED on the k/board blinks, but it just doesn't work regardless.
Acer said hold RESET for 10 seconds. Yeh right!!!!!! That wont work. -
then it's time to contact acer and demand a resolution...
