Aspire one owners: faint line on outer LCD casing?

I actually noticed a faint, faint line in the outer glossy covering on the top of the laptop, about half-way in the middle horizontally. It looks like a plastic blemish but looks too perfect, as it's perfectly straight and right in the center.

Again, doesn't bug me, but I'm curious if anyone else noticed this. You gotta see it in the right light! thanks

 

i answered this myself. i picked up another one for a friend as a gift and noticed the same exact line on there.

it was interesting to note. there are two markings that almost look like tiny blemishes, but both netbooks had EXACTLY the same blemishes. it was surprising. again, they're very hard to spot, but i guess it was just part of the manufacturing process.

the second "blemish" is near the top right of the black bezel. if you catch it in just the right light, you see a faint line going across, almost as if it was a tiny scratch. again, both netbooks had the identical markings so obviously it wasn't just mine.

again, doesn't bother me. i was just curious if others had it.

 

Yes, it's there in mine to but it's very faint and you have to have the light shining just right to be able to see it

 

did you also notice the two faint lines on each side of the LCD near the top? I thought it was only one at first until I noticed a mirrored version on the left as well.

 

No, don't see them anywhere.

 

weird. i see them symmetrically on each side, on both the netbooks i saw. one of things you gotta be in the right light for. REALLY faint. guess i just have good eyes for this stuff!
