    Aspire v5-573P-9899 can't connect via ethernet cable

    i can't connect to the internet with an ethernet cable. wifi works fine, but when i connect a cable the laptop down't see it.

    Check device manager to confirm that your Ethernet card is visible there (is installed) and that there's no yellow triangle next to it.

    Also double check that the Ethernet cable itself is OK (either check with different cable or confirm that the cable works with a different computer)

    i can't see an ethernet card there! all i see is the following:

    It's there and it's installed properly - it's the Realtek one.
    Check the cable
