    Hi All,

Anyone else had this?... growing crack on the Aspire screen
    hinge...

Cracked last year after about 6 months ( bought april 04).

Supposed 14 day turn a round from customer support..
Made then promise this before sending back, but didn't mean much
as after lots of excuses..some even repeats, 2 months later it was returned... always seemed "waiting for parts"... now 5 months later
since the repair, its cracked again.. very disapoointing and we treat the Acer with great care..
Am off to see what they are willing to do ?...

    take care all

If the LCD cover is consistently cracking, it could be that the hinges are too tight. You may want to get both the LCD cover & LCD hinges replaced at the same time. Stress cracks on LCD covers are rare for a fairly new system.
