    Hi guys,

I would like to know if anyone here could tell me why in the bios it says that i am 32mb graphics memory, then in ati catalyst its saying that i have 128mb. At the shop when i bought my laptop it said that the shared graphics memory was 64, which is right, I choose to believe the catalyst program, but when i go into the bios i cant change it up 32, it cant be changed down either. the laptop has 256ddr2 ram.

Would i be right in saying that i cant increase the graphics memory until i get more system memory ?

    thanks

    Nizmo

I believe that if it is like my old compaq laptop. this specs can be changed by the manufacture to allow ram to be limited. the bois shows what is currently allocated and catalyst shows maximium amount that the graphics chipset can handle if the bois has not been properly disabled.
