Greeting & good day to all gurus & experts,

I owned en Acer 5040 for month ago which run with Ati X200M vga int.card, i noticed there's a slight different at the appearance especially when i'm doing my artworks using Photoshop & Illustrator. I don't know how to explain well but i try my best and lets put it simple this way...

When i 1st start up the notebook...and i got the photoshop & illustrator opened & running, especially when i'm applying the gradient colour effect onto my artworks, it seems like the gradient did not render properly. they seems to be pixelated into afew sections of colour rendering which did not blend properly. at very beginning i thought wat on earth is happening on my lappy and it got me panic and uncomfortable. so i saved the file, transfer to my desktop to give it a preview, it seems like everything is alright. the gradient tat i applied is blended properly preview on desktop's monitor. but when i preview it back at the lappy, they seems to be 'pixelated' and did not appear as wat i preview from my desktop screen although it's the same file i opened.

from time to time after a while like 1-2 hours of running/using the notebook, surprisingly it started to render properly. the gradient appeared on my lappy screen seems to be show up accurately n blended properly with no longer pixelated.

So i'm curious, worried and wondering why is this happening? Is it "common" or it's unusual? Software driver problem? or ...? Anyone who owned a lappy running with same VGA experiencing this issue? By the way, wat's the best optimum setting for this Ati x200m? Let it be default or adjust it? Thanks.

    warmest regards,
    evtansk

p/s: i create a sample using illustrator putting the gradient side by side to indicate/explain wat i experienced so it's easier for u guys to understand wat i'm trying to explain. apologize for my poor english. cheers.
