Alright so i recently bought the aspire 4720z and decided to put XP on it and the audio drivers that i installed are not working so therefore there is no sound. I've searched countless times for different audio drivers and i have not been able to find a solution. Any ideas on how to get the sound to work on this thing? Any help is appreciated. oh yeah and i used the audio drivers found on this site:

maybe you would need to install the microsoft uaa driver.
if your laptop needs this driver, you would need to install it before you install the sound card driver. -
You probably need to install the Universal Audio Architecture driver along with your regular sound card drivers. The UAA driver makes the HD audio compatible with XP, since XP came out in the age of the AC '97 audio bus. Search Google for the driver.
