Just got nice new travelmate TM2303LC, running windows XP home, and all is well but for the subject problem. If I just leave the mouse over a folder icon say, and then after a few seconds move the mouse pointer, it has auto selcted the folder and drags the folder. This happens during install of other software too, where it autoselects before I have had a chance to reasd and choose others options. Cant find anywhere to turn this off- or is it a bug?

    Thanks for any assistance

This could be a feature that is enabled for your glidepad. You can check the mouse settings in the control panel and see if you can disable this feature. I believe it's for people who have difficulty clicking an dragging. Either it's a feature enabled or it's because the glidepad is too sensitive and it detected contact on the pad from your finger.
