I'm using ATI Catalyst 6.3 and tried to convert a VOB file (3GB+ ~120min) to Mpeg4 (Divx compatible) using Avivo video converter, but the file is only converted until 42min, and Avivo says conversion complete.. What is the problem here?

Has anyone experience the same problem?

I'm using Acer Aspire 5562 x1400, 1GB windows XP Pro

Maybe your DVD has 3-4 VOBs, 1G each。The single VOB only last 42min。

No, i have ripped the DVD using DVDshrink, and set the output to 1 file. Hence the 3GB VOB. The VOB file plays fine until the end, but the avivo converter only converts to 42mins..

Strange. Maybe Avivo shows its beta nature to the fullest. I didn't have that experience. Good to know.

    Cheers,

Loading a VOB file gives a negative file size, negative duration and i think a wrong bitrate...

    Anyone?
