PLEASE!!! Can someone help me out?!

I'm trying to downgrade to Windows XP on my machine.
Due to the common problem of XP not detecting the SATA HDD,
and me needing to change that in the BIOS.
I've already downloaded BIOS v1.35, and it keeps on giving me the error message: "Open Flash.sys Fail".

I've tried to run it as Administrator, but still nothing...

Downloaded that .zip file twice already!

    AAAaaaaaRRRrrrGGhhhHHH!!!

    Any suggestions? Please?

DON'T FLASH THE BIOS!! This should be something you can do without that.
When starting up your PC, hit F2 at the Acer logo to access the BIOS menu. From there, you should be able to set your system to IDE Mode instead of AHCI Mode.

Of course, if you don't want to go dicking around with the BIOS, just slipstream the Intel SATA drivers into your Windows XP CD using nLite.
