Excuse me but I found a similar topic, so I give to my question here. It is possible to give the UEFI Acer Aspire 5720 BIOS instead?
Maybe a stupid question, but I would like to know the answer if it's possible.
    Thanks for any response.
And forgive me my English Translator.

The Black Edition BIOS supports UEFI booting, but it's a 32-bit UEFI, not a 64-bit one, meaning you can't use it to boot Windows 7 or 8 in UEFI mode. (It works fine for Linux, though.)

Making a 64-bit UEFI for the 5720 would require access to the InsydeH2O sources with Acer's customizations, but none of us has that. The best we have is the Intel Tiano source distribution, which is missing Acer's customizations. Plus, I doubt that a 64-bit UEFI build would fit in the 5720's 1MB ROM chip.
