I just tried updating my BIOS on a 3810T running Win 7 home premium 64bit.

After downloading the BIOS 1.20 from the Acer site and running it as an admin, I got the following error: "This BIOS is not for your Notebook PC."

Huh? Anyone else get this message?

I had to flash my 5810t in dos mode , because the windows flash said my bios was not supported, acer seems to have changed thebios id in the new bios and it does not match the old, but the dos flasher works fine , that was my problem anyway.

EDIT : MAKE CERTAIN YOU HAVE THE RIGHT BIOS BEFORE YOU FLASH.
