Hi, I have been having a lot of problems using external monitors on my older TravelMate C110 (tablet). Whenever I plug something in (or even not) and then press Fn+F5 to switch monitors, I get the BSOD. I have no clue what is causing this, can someone help me?

try writing down the exact STOP CODE: xxxxx yyyyy zzzzzz info,,
then do a search at google using the the info you wrote down. -
Since it is a display thing, do you have the latest drivers for your videocard? You can also try I BIOS upgrade: ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/TravelMate_C110/bios/tmc110_a1s.zip

Wow I asked this over two months ago...I wrote the stop code somewhere but I think I threw it away already
. I know it was a 0x7F code and while I had the stop code I googled it like you said but didn't find any exact matches. I hear this is a problem often related to RAM but I don't see how that could be as I only get this when trying to switch monitors. Can someone please help?

You'll probably need the omega drivers.

Thank you, you are actually of use because it worked! I guess I missed the readme in the bios update the first time I downloaded it...
