    Hello guys.

Browsing in the web I just found an interesting article that might concern Acer users: http://vuln.sg/acerlunchapp-en.html

Basically it states that among Acer preloaded apps there is an ActiveX control that allows a webpage to remotely control an Acer PC. Right now I can not confirm/refute that because I am completely safe using Linux.

    Can anyone check this?

    Thanks.
    Joe.

Yeah, this was reported back late last year and Acer is supposed to have patched this with new version of the Launch manager program.
