I am going to do a clean install & I mean clean.Only have recycle bin.I want to just backup my drivers, system only drivers(display, sound, wifi etc.) on dvd.I will install applications on my own.I am worried if I do the clean install & download the basic drivers(displays, graphics, sound, network, touch mouse) it will be missing some important ones.

Last laptop I done a clean install on,works fine. But it has a power issue or something. It restarts/powers off fine in safe mode.
But in normal it never does.Screen goes off,but it never fully turns off.
I really don't want that to happen to this one.
I plan to DBAN too before doing a clean install.I know that may be overkill. But I bought it off someone couple months ago & he left it how it was.
I looked at the acer erecovery management, but it only gives the option for backing up drivers AND applications. What is a good program for backing up drivers only?

eRecovery backs up drivers and Acer-applications (not all applications) so it backs up eRecovery installer, Launch Manager, Acer Arcade and so on.
You don't have to install all of them afterwards and all of these still fit on one DVD so there's no point in looking for another solution.
