Okay I am searching for a good laptop bag....anyone have this one? I am getting desperate here....I am running out of time...I fly out of here at the end of the month and want to make sure that I have a good, sturdy and comfortable laptop back to take on the plane with me...if you have this particular bag, let me know how you like it...I want it for my Acer 2012.

    This is the Targus Gravity:

for me personally, one of my main concerns is how well padded/protected the notebook slot is, i'm not sure if you've actually held this bag yet or not, but i'd be curious what you think.

For me personally, I lean against bags that look like there is a computer inside, and have seen a few nice packs and messengers by patagonia and arcteryx, the latter especially who make fantastic backpacks for hiking, climbing and the like. Now i'm not suggesting that you'd be taking your notebook climbing (would you[ :D]), but for me, i know these companies make strong, durable and comfortable packs that i could also use when i'm not carrying my computer. However, i've found the selection is still really limited (at least in these west coast parts), especially for widescreen models, and for the moment i'm using a 'booq powersleeve 16' which i slide into my pack and off i go. It's a temporary solution for me, but i'm hoping whatever notebook bag i decide on, the booq will still be able to slide right in [ ;)]

note: i'm pretty sure these sleeves were designed specifically for mac powerbooks, but my 2012 fits nice and snugg.

    hope some of this helps

Hi, I bought an Acer 2012 few weeks ago and loving it. Anyway, to answer your question, I would recommend you to get a back pack just like tobby suggested. Personally, I bought one at Eaton Centre in Toronto and the brand name is High Shierra. It is about $60 Canadian and it is quite comfortable.

    I hope this helps.
