    Hi Folks

just bought recently the brandnew Netbook AS1830T-5434G32nki

after 1 Month, it simply stopped working

I asked Acer to take the Product back, as it seems not well configured with the new Intel I5

Acer did not make any Effort to help me in this Situation, as I lost any Confidence in thsi new Product

    By the Way:

be aware of the Statemnts about the running Time of this Netbook!!

Acer states on their Website, that it is up to 8 Hours running with the Battery!

My Netbook only hold 4 Hours - without Gaming or running Video

I asked Acer about this, and they stubborning told me, that this 8 Hours could only be achieved with a stronger Battery

So what do you Guys think about my Problem with Acer?

in my personal Case, I never ever will buy an Acer Product again

Sorry to hear about your issue, but there are a few things that don't add up.

Did Acer have you run any diagnostics to determine why the machine stopped working? Is it working now?

What do you mean "not well configured with the new Intel I5?" It's not like the Aspire 1830T had a Core 2 Duo or Celeron inside it before the Core i5: the machine is designed for the latest Intel processors.

As well, note that indeed it is up to 8 hours, not 8 hours guaranteed. Acer made sure to carefully parse that so that models can be sold without the strongest battery for less money.
(and be glad you CAN get 4 hours out of your machine - I've got an 8-cell battery in my 6920G, and I'm lucky to stretch it to 3)
