Okay, SO I was on my laptop for a few minutes, and the battery was going dead (Like, had no juice in it, had to charge it again), so I get the Windows battery warning, and it beeped as well, I said okay, I'll finish up what I was doing, but while doing that the laptop seemed pretty slow, Would this be because of my battery being almost dead it wanted to slow me down as much as possible to save battery?

Please let me know, as like I've said, this laptop was a display model. (It was in a case where nobody could get at it, just was left on with screen-saver on). And I don't know if it was the battery, or the laptop it self is going to be garbage.

Probably depends on what the power management settings are as to exactly what the laptop will do when low on power, quite often the default profile is to conserve as much battery power as possible when the battery is almost dead.

It was on the lowest profile, but it had very nice speed!

But once the battery was almost done, it went wikid slow...

So, Does this make sence? Is this normal?

It could have been a battery problem. Normally, if the battery reaches a really low charge, then it will shut itself down, and may not charge after that. If that was the case, then your notebook would have turned off or went to standby a long time before it started to act slow.

Ok, So my notebook ok? Or is it screwed up?

Is it being a display model its problem? Or is it I just need to charge it back up?

I think you have a problem with the notebook, because mine shuts down before the battery goes dead,

I disagree, it's all settings, you can set the notebook to shutdown or not, mine are setup never to shutdown, I do it myself when it becomes required.

What was the battery charge when it started going much slower? I know mine has settings for how to run depending on how depleted the battery is (so mine runs much slower when the battery is almost empty as opposed to when the battery is full).

I don't know, but I get a lot of messages from people, that this problem is normal, and to just charge the notebook back up, so I will just have to give that a try. :)

    Better be normal, aha.
