Just got back into the states and received my W7 upgrade disc.
After reading a few threads here about W7 having a negative impact on battery life, I am somewhat concerned about taking the plunge on my 4810.

Were these negative reports isolated events or a general theme?

I upgraded my 4810T to windows 7 (clean install) and the battery bar reports 7.5 hours, but this does not seem to be real. I have not actually used the notebook for more than few hours to judge whether this is real.
