Can someone point me in the right direction of showing me how to set up an audible alert when my battery is low please?

    Thanks in advance...

If you still have ePower Management installed then do the following:

Open ePower Management and click on Advanced Settings(top right).

You can set up the alarms etc. from there.

    Cheers,
    Theo

    http://www.pctipsbox.com/laptop-battery-monitoring-for-vista-and-xp/

This is a small and very simple program which notify low battery with sound. It's free, read the description and then try the program if you want to. Let me know if it's working for you.

Edit: If you want to start on Windows startup you'll need to do it yourself, manually. There is no option for that, as I said it's a very simple program.

    Nice program ATG ;).

If you are using Windows Xp SP2, there´s a registry hotfix to enable low and critical battery alert properly (as it´s sometimes equal to predetermined beep, almost inaudible)

You can read Microsoft article here => http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307154

It needs a formal request for downloading, so I have uploaded it here => http://www.mediafire.com/?mjzo3jcbejy

    I hope it helps you.

Kind Regards and Good Luck :)
