I have an Acer TM290 and I've been using it for about a year. For the past month or so, the computer just shuts off whenever it wants to when I'm running on battery. It doesnt show any warnings, messages, or anything. Everything just turns blank and I have to restart it. It can happen once I turn the computer on for 1 minute or maybe 45 mins later or maybe not at all. Sometimes when I'm recharging the battery with the computer on, the battery program shows the battery is at 0%. So is there something wrong with my battery or is there something wrong with my computer?
If there is something wrong with my battery, can it be rebuilt? or should I get a new one? Does the 1 year warranty cover this?
Thanks for all your help! []

If it is still under warranty, definetly should should be covered. I would give Acer a jingle.
I know things, things that could get me killed -
Most batteries are only covered by a 6 month warranty i believe, b/c when they have only about a 300 recharge life, you prolly could go through that in about half a year
