I have an Acer Extensa 4620z. It has 3 different power settings: power saver, balanced, and high performance.

I have used each of these modes and the battery life is 2 hours regardless. Even if I manually change my display brightness to the lowest level, its still 2 hours.

This doesnt make any sense to me.

    Its a 6 cell 4400 mAH battery.

Is this "2 hours" the estimated reported time or the time that you actually get once you have adjusted your settings?

I get roughly 2.0-2.5 hours on balanced depending on what I am doing, and if i turn everything down/off that i don't use, over 3 hours.

No, its the time I actually get. I let the computer run down on battery in high performance, power saver, and balanced and its always 2 hours regardless.
