    Hola:
Gracias. ;)

OP post English translation: Hi, if someone can help me out here it will be most appreciated. I have an Acer Aspire 5050 which is causing me problemS lately. The battery is discharging very quickly can't stand even 15 minutes. Now if I power on the laptop with the battery placed the laptop refuse to boot but if I remove the battery(only the AC cable is plugged in) the laptop boots, no problem whatsoever. I think my battery is dead but I want to be sure before I go to the store a buy a new one. Thank you.

    Welcome to NBR

Anyway yes, I think your battery is dead, you need a new one. MAKE SURE YOU GET A GENUINE ACER BATTERY OTHERWISE IT MAY NOT WORK!
