Looking to build myself another Laptop/Notebook/Desktop Replacement machine >LT in my sig, but would like to build an Acer from Barebones, as they also have a GOOD rep. CPU at least Core 2 (or AMD equiv), upgradeable when new CPUs come out. Still migrating to LINUX, hope to find a fair setup for some Digital Video Editing. Modular OD bay if possible, Max LCD ~15.4" (WXGA?) due to weight & battery life considerations. 12' may too be small? Do not understand these darn numbering systems. Does ACER even sell any new Barebones now?
Recommendations; build before New Years or wait a few months for newer models?
Or buy a used (5672?) from an upgrader?
