Hello, thanks for the great forum.

I have an older Acer 4720Z laptop that I am not using anymore that I plan to loan to a friend.

The laptop is running Vista home edition, and has minimal software installed.

I have a variety of personal information on the machine that I have already backed up and moved to my new laptop.

I now want to wipe / erase / clear the laptop to bring it back to factory standard specs for this OS.

I don't think I have the original CDs that came with this as I bought it like 4 years ago.

Is there a way that I can wipe the harddrive and just bring it back to the basic original OS? Thanks.
