I have been monitoring the temps and performance of my CPU using Right Mark recently and have noticed that my CPU is running very hot at full load. It seems to be throttling down at this point and causing games to chug for a few seconds, before going back up to 100%

I have undervolted the T5750 CPU to 1.0v (not overclocked), and the 9300M G GPU to 0.89v (overclocked to 600 mem 500 core).

    Temps are:

    Load

    CPU 75 - 80

    GPU 85 - 95

    Idle

    CPU 45 - 50

    GPU 60 - 65

I plan to upgrade the GPU to the 9600 M GT and the CPU to the T9300 soon, but until then can someone please let me know what the best cooler for the 7720G is, and possibly confirm the drop in temps?

I know there are coolers that actually work against the laptop's fans and heat the machine rather than cool it. It is those that I am particularly trying to avoid.

Hmm I got the same laptop just changed the GPU to a 8600m GT but your temps are way higher then mine... my idle is about 35c and load is about 66c and GPU however gets a little hot like 89c.

Clean the inside of your laptop or try using it on a flat surface because the GPU you have now shouldn't get that hot...

The temperatures are high. I have t8100 and GF 9500 and processor doesn't go above 75, but under load it's usually high 60s-low 70s.
Graphics card is at 85 when over-clocked and under heavy load.

I too have been looking for a laptop cooler, but with no success so far.
