I have setup a power option for when I am using my 1810TZ for reading ebooks. It basically has everything saving what power it can. Wireless, Wired, webcam are all disabled but screen is set to stay on and not dim (but is running at the 3rd setting from darkest). For some reason the HDD does not seem to want to spin down but still happy with the results.

Left it running last night and after 10 hours and 10 mins it had 30% bat left and said it still had 3.5 hours left.

So what can you get from your laptop?
