    Hi folks,

I just got acer aspire 4750G, everything went fine until I upgrade the bios. After upgrading the bios my power on password does not work anymore  I thought I was mistype it or have caps/numlock enabled then I type it slowly and making sure that caps/numlock is disabled but it still does not accept my password.

I set bios / power on password / full encrypt my hdd with truecrypt to make sure if my notebook gets stolen the thief can't use the notebook and can't access my data. But now myself can't use my notebook

Someone said that I need to reset bios settings to factory defaults (including removing all bios passwords) before upgrading the bios. Is that true? I did numerous bios flash/upgrade on other brand of notebook without resetting or removing bios passwords and it went fine.

Maybe the bios itself corrupted during download? I still see the acer logo and bios password prompt during booting. I still can hear the fan spinning and dvd drive spinning if I enter a dvd in the drive. How do I reflash the bios if I can't pass the bootup sequence?
